On August 21st, 2017, Nashville Tennessee experienced a solar eclipse that swept across the entire United States. This scenario hadn't occurred in close to 100 years. In the path of totality Nashville experienced nearly two minutes of total darkness. Green Door Gourmet opened the farm gates to a crowd of over 2,000 attendees to enjoy this celestial event on a 350 acre organic farm. Guests explored 3 food trucks (Hattie B's, Califarmia, and Jeni's Ice Cream), lawn games, educational activities, live music from Wu Fei performing traditional Chinese sun songs, and tours through the sun flower fields.
Marketing efforts included radio promotion on Lightning 100, social media campaign, and printed materials around the Nashville area. Also featured on websites Visit Music City, Nashville Life Styles, Nashville Carpe Diem, and Now Playing Nashville.

Green Door Gourmet's Annual Fall Fest features over 70 local artisan craft vendors, Nashville's most popular food trucks, Yazoo beer, local musicians, old-fashioned farm games, Kid Zone entertainment, pumpkin patches, hayrides, and much more! This event drew over 9,000 attendees in 2016. 2017 marked Green Door's 7th annual Fall Fest and flaunted new additions. With edits to the festival layout and structure, we added two outdoor stages, increased our craft vendors, and transitioned into a larger festival experience.
For this event I curated the vendor list, contracted musicians, mapped the festival, vendor, and parking layout, created event timelines and emergency procedures, managed an internal team of 30 employees, oversaw 60+ volunteers, and contracted all external vendors such as security, parking, and medics.
Marketing efforts for Fall Fest included: printed flyers and handouts in surrounding communities; placements in the following publications, Nashville Lifestyles, Nashville Guru, Nashville Life, Yelp, Eventful, AllEvents.in, Do615, Eventbu, and WhereEvent; radio promotion on WSMV and Lightning 100, and extensive social media posts on Green Door Gourmet and selected vendors personal social media pages.

Green Door Gourmet is a 350-acre organic farm that features u-pick strawberries grown organically nestled in the hills of Tennessee right on the Cumberland River. This event featured 9-acres of strawberry fields, flaunted gorgeous views, and showcased Nashville’s best local musicians. This event ran 6 days a week for nearly 2 months weather permitting (April through May). Produced in 2016 and 2017, I selected artisan food vendors that sampled products with Green Door Gourmet organic strawberries, food trucks, and bluegrass headliners for Pickin Party series while managing a team of 20 part-time seasonal staff members. This event drew 20,000 attendees to the farm throughout the season.
Marketing efforts for u-pick strawberry season included: printed flyers and handouts in surrounding communities; placements in the following publications, Nashville Lifestyles, Nashville Guru, Nashville Life, Yelp, Eventful, AllEvents.in, Do615, Eventbu, and WhereEvent; radio promotion on WSMV and Lightning 100, and extensive social media posts on Green Door Gourmet's and selected vendors personal social media pages.
